Registration for the 2025/2026 Training Year has now closed.

Our group accepts new registrants annually, from 16 August to 20 November using the Online Registration Tool (ORT).

Requirements

To enroll in Army Cadets, you must be:

  • aged 12-18

  • a legal resident of Canada

The registration process

STEP 1

Online Registration Tool
Click the link above. From here, you can fill out all enrollment forms electronically. Our Unit Number is 2316.

STEP 2

To complete registration, the new cadet must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and bring the following to your first night of cadets:

  1. one or two pieces of Federal Government-issued photo ID*

    • Passport, Birth Certificate, etc.

  2. proof of Medical Insurance Card/documentation

    • CareCard, BC Services Card, etc.

    *Please note that these IDs must be the originals; we cannot accept photocopies.

STEP 3

The cadet and a parent must sign a Code of Conduct as part of the application process.

Next Steps

After handing in the Code of Conduct form with both the ID and Medical card (we can photocopy when we see you), the cadet will be put into our system and be able to parade with us as an official cadet!

They will be placed with other recruits to learn the fundamental skills and knowledge of cadets and be measured for and issued a uniform.
