Missing documents

CADETS WITH OUTSTANDING ADMINISTRATIVE DOCUMENTATION

Some cadets are missing vital paperwork, and therefore clearance to attend Mon, Tue, and Thu night training.

Cadets who are missing the submission of Detailed Health Questionnaire (DHQ) or Annual Validation (AV) are not authorized to attend until properly processed.

Remember to bring:

  1. Federal Government-issued photo ID

    • Passport, Birth Certificate, etc.

  2. Medical Insurance Card

    • CareCard, BC Services Card, etc.

Area Directed Activities

  • Winter FTX, 17-19 January 2025 (Registration deadline: 5 January 2025)

  • Winter FTX, 7-9 February 2025 (Registration deadline: 19 January 2025)

  • 759 RCACS NCO Training - 25-26 January 2025 (Registration deadline: 12 January 2025)

  • Winter Regional Expedition - 9-17 February 2025 (Registration deadline: 8 January 2025); Cadets applicants must be Gold Star Qualified.

Teams

Team Announcements:

  • Marksmanship Team - NCOIC: Sgt Dickson
    Marksmanship teams A & B are well on their way to success at the zones competition coming up in February. We have been working hard to master the 6 principals of marksmanship and have seen great progress and dedication from everyone on Monday nights.

  • First Aid Team - NCOIC: TBC
    We will be starting first aid team on 14 January and will continue to happen every second Tuesday from 1800-2000hrs. All are welcome and there will be a chance to gain a first aid certificate.

  • Drill Team - NCOIC: WO Duffy
    For the last couple of weeks, Cadets from all star levels worked on the basics such as standing at attention, stand at ease, and right dress. When we come back, we will review and then start marching.

  • Pre-Para Team - NCOIC: Sgt Bergeron
    All are welcome to join and prepare for the day you are ready for Para. We will focus on sit ups, chin ups, push ups, running, memory tests and strength training.
    Bring a water bottle and wear good running shoes.
    Those selected will be attending the Pre-Para selection course in Vernon, BC from 24-28 March 2025.
    Successful candidates for the Parachutist Course will head to Trenton, ON for five weeks of training from early July to mid August.
